
Ryan Ross
Bravura Brass trombone and euphonium player Ryan Ross holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he studied euphonium with Mark Moore. He also holds a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting which he earned through his studies with Gary Lewis at Texas Tech University. In addition to his activities with the Bravura Brass, Ross serves as the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Dallas Festival of Modern Music and Music Director for the Tyler Youth Orchestra. He also serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Tyler Junior College.
Previous experience includes the principal euphonium chair in the University of Illinois Wind Symphony, second baritone horn with the NABBA National Championship St. Louis Brass Band, trombone with the East Texas Symphony Orchestra and Green Street Brass Quintet, and Cover Conductor with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
