Ryan Ross

Bravura Brass trombone and euphonium player Ryan Ross holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he studied euphonium with Mark Moore.  He also holds a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting which he earned through his studies with Gary Lewis at Texas Tech University.  In addition to his activities with the Bravura Brass, Ross serves as Music Director and Conductor for the Tyler Youth Orchestra and the Dallas Sinfonietta, a Dallas based chamber orchestra.  He also serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Tyler Junior College.

Previous posts include the principal euphonium chair in the University of Illinois Wind Symphony, second baritone horn with the NABBA National Championship St. Louis Brass Band, trombone with the University of Illinois Philharmonia Orchestra and Green Street Brass Quintet, and Cover Conductor with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.
