Stuart Womble

Horn player Stuart Womble is active throughout the greater Dallas - Forth Worth Metroplex as a freelance musician and has performed professionally around the nation.  He has held horn positions with the Chicago Civic Orchestra, the training orchestra for the Chicago Symphony, and the symphonies of Jacksonville, Charleston, and Tallahassee.  In Texas, he holds positions with the orchestras of Las Colinas, Garland, and Arlington, and has performed with the Richardson Symphony and the Dallas Wind Symphony. 

Womble graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree from Tennessee Technological University.  He also earned a Master of Music degree in horn performance from The Florida State University.  His principal teachers include David Cripps, William Capps, and Arthur LaBarre.
